Californians may now purchase multiple firearms within a 30-day period
On August 15, 2024, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals reversed a stay in the Firearms Policy Coalition’s (FPC) Nguyen v. Bonta case, challenging California’s “one-gun-per-month” law.
The reversal allows the district court’s judgment and injunction to take effect, preventing the state from enforcing the “1-in-30” gun ban for now.
Californians may now apply to purchase multiple firearms within a 30-day period, pending any further court orders.
