Multiple Firearm Purchases Now Allowed in California
On August 15, 2024, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals reversed a stay in the Firearms Policy Coalition’s Nguyen v. Bonta case, allowing Californians to purchase multiple firearms within a 30-day period. This decision suspends enforcement of the state’s “one-gun-per-month” law until further court orders are issued.
