The Basic Ammunition Eligibility Check (single ammunition transaction) requires the Department to conduct a comprehensive review of it’s records to determine the person’s eligibility to own or possess ammunition. This eligibility check is similar to a firearms eligibility check and may take days to determine eligibility. The current fee is $19.
